Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I work at the university where I studied. I am teaching Math and Statistics courses and tutoring students who need assistance with their Math and Statistics classes, just like Tutor.com. I also have been tutoring with Tutor.com since April 2013 and currently tutor Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Statistics, and Spanish.
Why do you tutor with Tutor.com? What makes you stay?
I definitely LOVE Tutor.com! I like the flexibility and support of Tutor.com which allows tutors to work as many hours they are able to. Tutor.com has become a very important part of my life and I want to continue working with Tutor.com.
I am very grateful to be tutor of the month. I want to thank the Tutor.com team, especially my mentors and my senior mentor, for guiding me through my process at Tutor.com.
What’s your best homework or study tip?
There are two tips I could give to any student: 1) Try to solve your problem. Many students are afraid of trying, and do nothing even if they know how to get the solution. 2) Practice makes perfect. Students can master any kind of problem and increase their confidence on themselves if they practice a lot.
