Tutor.com is growing again! With new clients and more students to help, we’re continuing to hire in just about every part of our business. This week, we introduce you to three new faces. These are the folks who help us test, market and support our suite of online and on demand tutoring, homework and career services for libraries, schools, colleges, corporations and the military across the country.
And we’re still hiring! Check out our careers page to see if there’s an opportunity for you.
Bob Bonocore, Account Manager Bob is a teacher, professor, actor, playwright, musician and dog-lover. We’re wondering how he has time to work! But work he does. Bob spends most of his days on the phone and on email keeping in touch with the libraries that offer Tutor.com to help them run successful programs.
We were lucky to lure Bob away from being his own boss as a consultant to companies such as eChalk, Triumph Learning, HealthCurriculum.org and many more. While he doesn’t spend much time in the classroom these days, as a former Language Arts teacher and theatre professor, he has a deep understanding and appreciation for teaching and learning and what our tutors accomplish every day in the Online Classroom.
Bob recently moved down the coast from Philly to the Sunshine State and he’s enjoying his new tropical lifestyle.
Tania Enders, Marketing Director Tania brings over a decade of integrated marketing experience to her new role as marketing director for our library, college and corporate clients. She lives in NJ with her husband, daughter and Sunny, the family’s orange tabby cat. In her spare time, (which there’s never enough of), Tania enjoys reading, writing poetry, gardening and most of all, cooking! She hopes to one day get her Masters, travel to Paris and self-publish a cookbook or a children’s book.
Check out Tania’s work at the upcoming ALA 2011 Annual Conference at BOOTHS #859 & #816C where our one-of-a-kind giveaways and ten year anniversary cake and champagne reception will be sure to wow you.
Gene Kardun, Quality Assurance Each year we introduce new services and features to ensure students can get the high quality help they need from Tutor.com. Gene is one of the reasons our launches go without a hitch as he’s busy testing everything our tech team develops.
Gene spent ten years at Verizon Wireless before joining the Tutor.com team. He loves playing soccer, beach volleyball and rollerblading as well as spending time with family and friends. He’s also a proud dad of two. His oldest son just entered the Air Force and has two weeks of bootcamp under his belt.
